Bornay Mosque is a brick mosque in the Old Tatar Settlement of Kazan, in the Vakhitovsky district of the capital of Tatarstan (Akhtyamova Street 7). Sources also call it the Mosque of the Third Cathedral. Dating from 1872, it was built in an eclectic style that combines medieval Tatar and Russian elements; the German Wikipedia describes this as National Romanticism. The mosque is protected as a federal cultural heritage site in Russia.

The mosque was built in 1872 on the commission of the merchant Mukhametsadik K. Burnayev (1826–1898), to a design by the architect P. I. Romanov. It stands on the site of an older wooden mosque of 1799, which had burned down. The minaret was added in 1895.
In the late 1930s the mosque was closed following a decision of the Central Executive Committee of Tatarstan. It was reopened to worshippers only in 1994.
