The Sheik Karimol Makhdum Mosque stands in the Tubig Indangan area of Simunul, in the province of Tawi-Tawi, the Philippines. It is known as the oldest mosque in the Philippines and, according to local tradition, in Southeast Asia. It is designated both a National Historical Landmark and a National Cultural Treasure. The present building dates from the 1960s, while four old pillars preserved inside it come from the 17th century.
