An earlier mosque from the 16th century occupied the site. After the Ottoman reconquest of 1715, Sultan Ahmed III commissioned a new mosque there. Some restoration work was carried out in 2000, but the building remains mostly in ruins today.

The Ahmed III Mosque (Greek: Τζαμί του Αχμέτ Γ΄), also known as the Acrocorinth Mosque (Greek: Τζαμί της Ακροκορίνθου) or the Ahmed Pasha Mosque (Turkish: Ahmet Paşa Camii), is an Ottoman former mosque, in a ruinous state, located in the fortress of the Acrocorinth, in the Peloponnese, Greece.
