According to the accounts, the Prophet reviewed his army at this spot before setting out for Badr, and the place is regarded as the location where Quran 8:7 was revealed. Hadith reports mention that he performed ablution with water from the nearby Suqya well and that water was also drawn from it for drinking.

Masjid As-Saqiya (bahasa Arab: مسجد السقيا) atau yang lebih dikenal dengan Masjid As-Suqya adalah sebuah masjid yang berada di kota Madinah, Provinsi Madinah, Arab Saudi. Masjid ini berlokasi dekat dengan stasiun kereta api Anbariya dan dibangun ketika Nabi Muhammad keluar untuk melaksanakan Perang Badar, masjid ini juga dianggap sebagai saksi tempat turunnya ayat Al-Qur'an, Surah Al-Anfal ayat 7. Kemudian ada catatan dalam Hadis tentang nabi yang melakukan wudu dan minum dengan air sumur Suqya sebelum berangkat berperang. Dikisahkan pula bahwa Umar memimpin salat Istisqa (doa memohon hujan) di masjid ini atas permintaan Abbas bin Abdul-Muththalib.
