The Al-Majidiyyeh Mosque is an Ottoman-era place of worship in the centre of Beirut, the Lebanese capital. It is named after Sultan Abdulmecid and is classed within Ottoman architecture. The building was originally a fort before it became a mosque. It stands in the Fakhry Bey area of the Majidiyeh quarter. The mosque suffered damage during the Lebanese Civil War and was later restored, and it remains one of the Ottoman-period mosques of the city.
