Minor Mosque stands on the bank of the Ankhor canal in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. Its design follows traditional Eastern and Uzbek architecture, with two minarets and a sky-blue dome. One source also describes the building as combining Persian and Islamic architectural character. The interior is decorated in the naqsh style, and the mihrab bears hadiths as well as Quranic verses. The mosque can accommodate more than 2,400 worshippers, and it has ablution rooms equipped with modern fittings for visitors.
