The Emir Sultan Mosque is an Ottoman-style mosque in the Emirsultan neighbourhood of Bursa. It is named after Emir Sultan, whose full name was Shams al-Din Muhammad ibn Ali al-Husayni al-Bukhari, remembered as a scholar and Islamic thinker. Our records list Fatma Hundi Hatun as its commissioner. Emir Sultan's wife, Hundi Fatma Sultan Hatun, was a daughter of Sultan Bayezid I. Emir Sultan, his wife, their son Emir Ali and their two daughters are buried at the far end of the mosque's outer rear courtyard. The year 1868 in our database corresponds to the most recent rebuilding of the mosque.

The date of the original construction is not known precisely. Sources place it in the 14th century and estimate that it was built between 1366 and 1429, possibly during the reign of Mehmed Çelebi (Mehmed I).
The mosque was rebuilt in 1804 on the orders of Ottoman Sultan Selim III. It was rebuilt once more in 1868, and the present building dates from that reconstruction.
Emir Sultan, his wife Hundi Fatma Sultan Hatun, their son Emir Ali and their two daughters are buried at the end of the outer rear courtyard.
