The Chinguetti Mosque, also called the Chinguetti Great Mosque, is a Sunni mosque in the town of Chinguetti in Mauritania's Adrar Region. The town was formerly a centre of learning and worship. Built in the Maghrebi architectural tradition, the mosque is made of cut stone and has a prayer hall and an open courtyard. Its square minaret is a distinctive feature. The building has no ornament, in keeping with the Maliki school followed by the townspeople. The mosque and its minaret are counted among Mauritania's national emblems. The minaret is claimed to be the second oldest in continuous use in the Muslim world. The mosque lies within the Ancient Ksour of Ouadane, Chinguetti, Tichitt and Oualata, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Arabic-language sources describe Chinguetti as a historic centre of learning and worship. In the 1970s UNESCO carried out several repairs in the town, which nevertheless remains threatened by desertification. In 1996 the Ancient Ksour of Ouadane, Chinguetti, Tichitt and Oualata, the site that includes the mosque, was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
