Taşlık Mosque stands in the Sarıcapaşa neighbourhood of central Edirne, set within a spacious garden. The building has a square plan, and its dome rests on an octagonal drum. The eastern, western and southern façades each have five windows arranged in three rows. The three-bayed last-congregation porch is covered with lead, and on either side of it is a window designed in the form of a mihrab. The mosque is open for worship today following its restoration.

The mosque is recorded as having been built in the 15th century by Mahmud Pasha, one of the grand viziers of Mehmed the Conqueror. The building stood in a ruined state for many years. It was restored by the General Directorate of Foundations (Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü) and reopened for worship in 2007.

Uzun yıllar harap halde olan cami Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü tarafından restore edilerek 2007 yılında tekrar cami ibadete açıldı.
Geniş bir bahçe içinde bulunan cami kare planlıdır. Caminin kubbesi sekizgen kasnak üzerine oturmuştur. Caminin doğu, batı ve güney cephelerinde üç sıra halinde beşer pencere bulunmaktadır. Üç gözlü son cemaat yerinin üstü kurşunla kaplıdır. Son cemaat yerinin iki tarafında mihrap şeklinde düzenlenmiş birer pencere bulunmaktadır.
