ℹ️ Visiting etiquette
- Visitors may be briefly restricted at prayer times, especially in the half hour after the call to prayer.
- Shoes come off at the entrance; most mosques have bags or shelves.
- Wear clothing covering shoulders and knees; women cover their hair (scarves are often lent at the door).
- Don't walk in front of people praying and keep quiet; take photos without flash and ask first.
- On Fridays mosques are very crowded around the noon prayer.
