The Jameh Mosque of Yazd, known in Persian as Masjed-e Jāme'-e Yazd, is the great congregational (Friday) mosque of the city of Yazd in Yazd Province, Iran. It is listed as part of Iran's National Heritage. Our records associate the building with several architectural traditions: Saffarid, Seljuk, Ilkhanid, Timurid, Safavid and Qajar. An image of the mosque appears on the Iranian 200-rial banknote. It stands in the historic part of Yazd, near Darvaze Shahi.
