The Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque is the second principal mosque of Putrajaya, Malaysia, after Putra Mosque. It is also known by its Malay nickname Masjid Besi, the Iron Mosque. It stands on Kiblat Walk in Precinct 3, opposite the Palace of Justice and beside Islamic Complex Putrajaya, a religious authority headquarters. Our records give it a capacity of about 20,000 worshippers. Completed in 2009, it is a contemporary example of Islamic architecture. Its area is roughly twice that of Putra Mosque, which lies 2.2 kilometres to the north.
