Hacıveyiszade Mosque stands in central Konya, on Sultanşah Caddesi in the Ferhuniye neighbourhood. It was built in memory of Hacıveyiszade Mustafa Kurucu Hoca Efendi, a renowned religious scholar of Konya. The building resembles the classical Ottoman architectural style. Its two minarets, each with three balconies, rise to 78 metres and are described as the tallest in the region. Beneath the mosque are shops, lounges and a space for the mufti, so the building is regarded as a külliye, or complex. The mosque can hold 4,500 worshippers, and the complex as a whole 10,000.
