The Mosque and Khanqah of Shaykhu is a Mamluk-style religious complex in Egypt. Sources describe the ensemble as comprising a mosque, a basin, a khanqah and a dome. It was founded by Sayf al-Din Shaykhu al-Nasiri, who served as Grand Emir under Sultan an-Nasir Hasan. The mosque interior is noted for its inlay of black glass, wood and marble, and for an unusual stone minbar. The khanqah stands in front of the mosque and has a ceiling with a radiating design, white and blue tiles and Quranic inscriptions. The complex forms part of a World Heritage Site.
