Dai Anga Mosque stands in the city of Lahore, in Pakistan's Punjab province, to the southeast of Lahore Railway Station. It lies in the Naulakha area, roughly a quarter of a mile from the station, and its recorded address is Sikh Wall, near Murad Ali Shah. The building is classed within Indo-Islamic architecture. It takes its name from Dai Anga, the wetnurse of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, with whom the mosque is traditionally associated.

The mosque is said to have been built in 1635 (1045 AH). It is widely believed to have been founded by Dai Anga herself before she set out on the pilgrimage to Mecca, while other accounts describe it as built in her honour. An inscription in the mosque, however, bears the date 1649 (1060 AH), which differs from the traditional date of construction.
