The Chin Mosque stands in the Old City of Baku, the walled historic quarter of Azerbaijan's capital, close to the Palace of the Shirvanshahs. It is also known as the Gazi Fezlullah bin Osman Mosque. Our records give 1375 as the year of construction, and the sources place its completion in the 14th century. The building is associated with the Shirvan-Absheron school of Islamic architecture. It no longer functions as a mosque; it is registered as a national architectural monument of Azerbaijan and now houses a numismatic museum that forms part of the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan.
